Brief background: Robin grew up in a low-income household in a small town just east of Seattle. His father was in debt after dropping out of college and making some bad choices in his youth, so their family was always just barely staying afloat; it was a supportive household, nonetheless, and Robin was always taken care of. Even when both parents were busy with work, they were always able to take at least a little time out to head out back and tend to their large garden with him, and Robin grew up with fond memories of it.

When Robin was twelve, his father died in an accident on his way to work. His mother was distraught and cried often, and despite his own grief, Robin felt that it was his responsibility to be strong for her. Life was very melancholy for a long time, but things improved as time passed. His mother began gardening with him again, eventually.

A good friend of Robin's was invovled in a fight freshman year; Robin dutifully jumped in to try and separate the two, but ended up being pulled in. Part of his arm transformed as he tried to defend himself, and once his mother found out, he was swiftly sent off to Grimoire Academy, in hopes that he would find a better life by attending. Robin was unhappy to leave his mother by herself, but accepted that she sent him off with good intentions, and promised her he would work hard.

With his absent-minded nature, however, this has proved to be a bit difficult...

His first partner left the academy, so he is currently waiting for reassignment. The recent school attacks have left him worried, and the destruction outside even more so; insofar, he has not been involved in any attacks, thankfully, so he is somewhat unaware of how severe the situation really is.

Personality: Robin is a very cheerful, naive boy. He maintains a positive, optimistic outlook on life, which appears to stem from genuine, innocent faith, though at times he can seem out of touch with reality. Whether he is truly in denial of the things around him is anyone's guess. Empathy is a strong suit of his, and he's known as being a kind, gentle boy.

However, Robin has a self-imposed, somewhat self-destructive sense of duty towards others to always be there when he is needed, come hell or high water. His self-sacrificial nature often leads to him giving up a lot of his free time to others. He often bottles things up and swallows his emotions around others for the sake of being strong in serious situations. He is, however, known to cry quite easily in any other situation, and is a grade A weenie when it comes to scary movies, ghost stories, and thunderstorms.

Due to living in a low-income house all his life, Robin is always an extremely grateful person. It's very rare for him to take anything for granted. He keeps everything anyone gives him as a gift, particularly little things like doodles or notes in class.

By nature, Robin is a very absent-minded, somewhat slow-going boy, so when things get hectic he tends to emotionally shut off everyone else to an even greater extent than usual; this is when his sunny attitude shines brightest, as forced as it is in such situations. He prefers to take things at his own pace in life, which often leads to him arriving to class late looking like he just rolled out of bed, with rumpled clothing and more than one item forgotten at home. He's never without his phone, however, as he has a borderline unhealthy interest/hobby/obsession with mobile games.

All in all, Robin Bailey is a an absent-minded, yet gentle and golden-hearted boy who often bottles up his emotions, but is very reliable and always kind to others.

Strengths / Weaknesses: Robin is a slow person. Slow to get jokes, slow to wake up, slow on the uptake. He is an intelligent person with a great eye for details, but he often needs extra time to interpret things before coming to a good conclusion. Unfortunately, in non-threatening situations, he doesn't always think things completely through before giving an answer... He is vulnerable to fast, sudden,or surprise attacks, though he can handle anything head-on well, generally.
He is also almost totally immune to any weather. He'll walk in snow in khakis and flip flops. Try and stop him.
He will eat just about anything you put in front of him, including spicy and bitter foods. This is totally a strength.

Likes / Dislikes:
+Gardens!!!
+Dogs. Neighbors had large, friendly dog he used to play with.
+HAIR CLIPS. HAIR CLIIIIIIIIPS. Can be seen with any variety of them at any given time.
+Junk Food. It's a problem. Seriously. Someone stop him.
+Mobile Games
-Arguments. They upset him a lot, even when he is not involved.
-Seasonal allergies. Very bad for gardening!
-Avocado. He is VERY, VERY ALLERGIC. Anaphylaxis-level allergic.
-First Period. Why is it always so early???

Fighting style: Try to verbally diffuse situation first; in the event that words don't work, try to block or dodge until a clear opening is available, preferably one that will deter or knock out the opponent. He really, really does not like fights.
If someone else is in danger, he will not hesitate to risk his own safety to ensure that of others, particularly if they are friends.
